As part of a project to build three 600-sq.m jet fuel tanks at the Charleroi Airport, SPIE is in charge of electrical installations, piping and pump systems, operations management and system automation. Our teams have developed software that authorises refuelling, controls flows and monitors fuel levels in real time
France
Renovated lighting installations on the Île de Ré bridge, with a remote management system that varies light intensity, thereby reducing overall electricity consumption
Topping up water pools at Areva NC's facility in La Hague, as part of a project to improve cooling systems in spent fuel pools
For SFR, the French mobile network operator, SPIE develops and installs Nano-BTS stations in office buildings to enhance cell phone coverage. Deployment requires skills in both mobile systems and IP network interconnection
Technical works package, including security systems, for a former Michelin plant in Clermont-Ferrand that has been refurbished as a museum, training centre and corporate archives
For the A515 project that will produce a replacement model for the Citroën C3, SPIE developed and manufactured 84 front and rear platforms that move the engine, exhaust pipe, steering system, shock absorbers and other subsystems closer to the body for final assembly
